American Heart Month
Every February we honor the work done by our hearts (all day, every day!).
Here are a few ideas to help take care of our hearts.
- Commit to moving your body, someway, somehow, every day!
- Increase your fruit or vegetable intake - try for one extra fruit or veggie each day
- Get enough sleep
- Don’t smoke!
- Know your numbers (blood pressure, body mass index, cholesterol, blood sugar/blood glucose)
- Learn: American Heart Association’s Warning Signs of a Heart Attack
