Please use the following guidelines when determining whether or not to send your child to school.
Fever: Students should not be present in school if their temperature is greater than 100 degrees Farenheit. In order to return to school, temperature should be below 100 degrees Farenheit for 24 hours without the help of fever-reducing medicine (i.e., Tylenol, ibuprofen).
Vomiting: In order to return to school, the student should not have vomited in the last 24 hours.
Diarrhea: In order to return to school, the student should not have had diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
Rash of unknown origin: If your child has a rash and you don't know the cause, please have him/her checked out at the doctor prior to bringing him/her to school.
Please also keep them home if they are generally unwell and will not be able to participate in school/activities required for school; for example, a persistent cough that prevents the child from being able to participate in school or a bad headache that doesn't go away with the use of medications and/or rest.
As always, call either the K7 office or HS office to speak with Nurse Crofton if you have any questions.
