March is always a busy month in the music department at Blue Earth Area Schools, for students and especially for our staff! To kick off Music in our Schools Month, 49 BEA students are showcasing their talents today at MSU for the annual Solo & Ensemble contest.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Music Department staff for their tireless dedication and passion in nurturing our students every day, ensuring they're well-prepared for performances and competitions alike.

In the state of Minnesota, today has been declared School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. We thank our bus and van drivers, as they are each responsible for the daily safety of dozens of children and support the success of our students and their families.

Congratulations to Blue Earth Area Activities Director and assistant football coach, Travis Armstrong, for being a recipient of the 2023 Butch Nash award from the Minnesota Football Coaches Association!

🐝Congratulations to the 5th-7th grade students who have qualified for our local spelling bee on Friday, January 19th at 9:00 am in Pemberton Auditorium. Parents and guardians are more than welcome to attend. The winner of our local spelling bee will advance to the regional spelling bee on February 20 at South Central College in North Mankato. The winning student from the regional spelling bee will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to be held in Washington, D.C. the last week of May. We look forward to our first spelling bee this Friday!
