Miss. Mandler's Career Prep class completed a Mock Interview Experience with professionals in the community from KBEW, First Bank Blue Earth, Nortech, McDonalds, Faribault County Register, and CEDA. This class is designed to prepare our BEA students for life after high school where they learn about the job search, schooling options, the workforce, resumes, cover letters, the interview experience, and many more topics! The students did a great job of explaining their skills and life experiences that have prepared them for a career. A huge thank you to these professionals that helped us today!

Today, we celebrate the unsung heroes who keep our spaces clean and welcoming.
Our custodians operate behind the scenes, and they are often under-appreciated for the hard work they do day after day. Thank you, custodial workers, for turning chaos into order, and for making our world a brighter, more beautiful place. We recognize that you are the ones who respond first to our emergencies, and we see you taking care of our buildings and spaces, as well as the people in them. Thank you for all you do! ❤️💛

📸Don't forget! School picture day is tomorrow--Tuesday, October 3!

Over 6,000 dedicated officials serve Minnesota's high schools, ensuring fair, safe, and enjoyable contests.
Varsity-level officials must register with the League, attend training, and devote significant time to prepare and travel. High school officiating is a passion, not a profession, pursued alongside full-time jobs. Officials work for the enjoyment of staying involved with the sports they love and the opportunity to give back.
They play a crucial role in imparting life lessons through athletics, enforcing fair rules, and upholding behavior standards for successful high school events.
This week at Blue Earth Area Schools, we "Thank a Ref" and encourage you to show your appreciation for the hard work and dedication that our referees and umpires model for our students and communities.

⛵️Adventures in English Class: Mrs. Stallman's 8th grade English Language Arts students proudly display their hand-crafted galleons, combining art and literature this captivating class.
The process: students researched a source about a 16-18th century galleon, and determined if it was credible. If it was, they used that source to make the galleon from materials in the room. Then their groups presented their research and their final galleon to the class.

In addition to making an investment at the K–7 building, the District has identified other updates that could be completed at the high school.
A reminder the survey closes on September 29. Take the survey linked below today!
