Are you a Blue Earth Area Senior? Are you interested in applying for the AAA Award?
The Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award, commonly known as the Triple 'A' Award, honors high school seniors throughout the state who have a 3.0 or higher grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities. To be eligible for the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award a student must:
- Be a high school senior at the time of nomination.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of nomination.
- Participate in at least one League-sponsored athletic program and one arts/activity
program.
- Comply with the MSHSL's Student Code of Conduct
- Complete the application form and submit it to your school.
If interested, see Mr. Armstrong or Ms. Smith in the office to pick up an application. Applications are due back in the office on Thursday, Dec. 7th before 3:30 PM.

Congrats to our BUC PRIDE winners for Quarter 1 of the 2023-2024 School Year!
Each quarter, Buc PRIDE award winners are chosen through a collaboration of high school staff and National Honor Society members. In the spring, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are invited to apply for NHS membership based on their GPA. Membership is awarded based upon academics, service, character, and leadership.











Thanks to all of the High School Students and Teachers who took the time to nominate a Support Staff for the "You Make it a BEAutiful Day Award"!
Our First winner of the 2023-2024 school year of the BEAutiful Day Award goes to Wayne Hermanson!
The high school students and teachers that voted also took the time to provide many wonderful reasons as to why they nominated the staff member they did.


On Thursday, AD Travis Armstrong took a group of Sophomores and Juniors to Redwood Valley to attend a leadership workshop. These students learned about characteristics of a leader, participated in activities to help improve their leadership skills, and shared personal stories related to leadership. Craig Hiller, a nationally recognized speaker and author, presented his "Unlocking A Season of Significance". He also emphasized the importance of sportsmanship.
