Join the Buccaneer Beats Drumline Camp and learn the rhythms that bring the parade to life! Open to grades 6–12—no percussion experience needed. Drumline members will practice together all week and perform in the Giant Days Parade on Saturday. Fee includes camp and a T-shirt. Limit of 14, due to number of instruments.

We know costs are going up everywhere, so Community Ed is making one thing a little easier this summer. The $5 late registration fee for Summer Rec camps and activities after May 18 has officially been eliminated! Shoot the Rock coaches Colby and Shannon Swanson are partnering with MSU Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach Isaac Fink (Director of Be Great Basketball Training) to provide fun, fast-paced games and high-level skill development throughout the summer.

Spring Diamond Painting
Bike Rodeo
(PreK-Grade 4)
Join us between 9:00 -11:00 to practice biking skills, receive a free helmet, and learn the rules of the road. At 11:00, take a guided ride with friends and family on marked bike routes around Blue Earth. Bring your own bike or contact Community Ed if you need to borrow one (children younger than 3rd grade will need to bring their own bike). Parents are encouraged to attend; bikes will be available for adults on a first come first serve basis. Children must be able to ride independently to participate. Sponsored by City of Blue Earth Parks and Rec Department, Active Living Coalition, and the Blue Earth Police Department.
