Memorial Day weekend is coming up, and it is the perfect time to join local history buff, A.B. Russ, for a fascinating guided tour through the grounds of Riverside Cemetery. History, heritage, and memories converge as A.B. shares captivating stories and insights about the remarkable individuals who have left their mark on our community. Community Ed is offering a Summer Drivers Ed session for anyone wishing to take it in the summer (BEA 9th graders can take it during the school year for free, but may sign up for this class instead if they wish). Students who opt for the Community Ed Summer Session will be responsible for paying the classroom fee of $160 as well as the Behind the Wheel fee of $220. We did NOT see this coming! In our fifth and final Buc Detective Agency class of the season, our secret agents thought they knew who the guilty party would be--it turns out they were partially right. Miss Armstrong was the gang leader, but was assisted in her criminal endeavors by all the previous guilty parties--what a cunning and devious crew! Thankfully, the agents recovered Otis the Pig, and all is well in the Community Ed office once again. 🐷

🚴Bike Rodeo🚴‍♀️ (PreK-Grade 4) Join us between 9:00 -11:00 to practice biking skills, receive a free helmet, and learn the rules of the road. At 11:00, take a guided ride with friends and family on marked bike routes around Blue Earth. Bring your own bike or contact Community Ed if you need to borrow one (children younger than 3rd grade will need to bring their own bike). Parents are encouraged to attend; bikes will be available for adults on a first come first serve basis. Children must be able to ride independently to participate.
