Boys Basketball—Shoot the Rock 3 on 3 (Grades 3-7) Just like the 3x3 basketball you may have watched in the Paris Olympic games, get ready for a fast-paced, competitive, and fun way to kick off the basketball season. The first 30 minutes will be a focus on skills: dribbling, passing, and shooting. Fuel Up, Tune Up, Groove Up with 4-H! (Grades K-3) This series of six lessons focuses on whole body wellness for the Kindergarten - 3rd grade age group. The lessons include healthy living skill-building such as mindfulness and physical activity, as well as trying new foods by making healthy snacks. Learning these skills helps youth build healthy habits that last a lifetime. MyPlate guides eating choices by showing how to balance the five food groups that are the building blocks for a healthy diet. Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People (Online Class) (Adults and teens ages 13+) Have you ever wanted to learn the guitar but simply find it difficult to find the time? In just a few hours you can learn enough about playing the guitar to give you years of musical enjoyment, and you won’t have to take private lessons to do it. This crash course will teach you some basic chords and get you playing along with your favorite songs right away. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM, you will be able to sit at home with your guitar and take this class without any pressure at all. Since the class includes an online book and online follow-up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. Since this class is being held online with ZOOM, you will be able to sit at your piano or keyboard at home and take this course with no pressure at all. And since this course includes an online book and follow-up video lessons, you will be able to continue your practice and study on your own. Welcome to the LEGO Builders Club, where young minds come together to unleash their creativity, engineering skills, and imagination! Attention families/guardians of Drivers Ed students: the fee for Drivers Ed Behind-the-Wheel instruction will be increasing by $10 starting September 1, 2024. If you would like to register at the current fee of $210, please do so by midnight on August 31. You can register on our webstore at: https://blueeartharea.revtrak.net/Community-Ed/ There are no date restrictions on when your child actually drives with an instructor, so you can register any time, but this will save you $10.
