Dust off your Razr phones and sign out of AIM, because we’re throwing it back to the Class of 2006! 📱💬
Can you believe how much time has passed since we were burning custom mix CDs, obsessing over our Myspace Top 8, and blasting "Mr. Brightside" on repeat? We survived low-rise jeans, chunky highlights, and polo shirts with the collars popped. 😅
Shoutout to everyone who graduated in '06—we really thought we were the pinnacle of cool!

Classrooms are outdated and in need of modernization. Flexible learning spaces are needed for project-based activities and small group learning. The current classrooms also do not have the needed electrical capacity to support today’s technology needs.

The 2009-2010 school year was an elite era. If you didn’t spend your weekends watching Avatar in theaters, quoting The Hangover, or learning the dance to "Single Ladies," did you even go to school in 2010?

Bus Rider of the Week Program a Success for the 2025-26 School Year!
The Blue Earth Area Transportation Department would like to congratulate all of the students who earned a Bus Rider of the Week Mini Blizzard coupon this year!
The Bus Rider of the Week program has been a tremendous success, creating excitement among students while reinforcing the importance of safe and responsible behavior on our school buses. We have seen students working hard to follow bus expectations, show kindness to others, and help make the ride to and from school a positive experience.
A special thank you goes to Dairy Queen for generously supporting this program by providing Mini Blizzard coupons for our student winners. Their partnership helped make this recognition program even more meaningful and rewarding for our students.

🌍 NEW SERIES: The American Exchange Project at BEA! 🌍
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to step completely out of your comfort zone and experience a totally different slice of American life?
This summer, our Blue Earth Area students did just that—and we are hosting some incredible student visitors in return! Over the next month, we’ll be sharing stories, photos, and unforgettable moments from our students' journeys. But first, what exactly is the American Exchange Project (AEP)?
What is AEP? The American Exchange Project gives high school seniors the opportunity to experience life in a different part of the United States—for free! Students spend a week living with a host family, exploring a new community, learning about different cultures and perspectives, and building friendships that last a lifetime. It's an incredible opportunity to broaden horizons, develop independence, and discover that while our communities may be different, we have much more in common than we think.
Welcoming the Country to Blue Earth Area Schools! This summer, BEA is proud to welcome students from across the country to southern Minnesota. Our visiting students will experience everything from our local businesses and agriculture to Minnesota traditions, community events, and, of course, our famous Midwest hospitality! We're excited to share this unique experience with our community and can't wait to introduce our guests to everything that makes Blue Earth such a special place.
👉 Stay tuned! Over the next few weeks, we will be featuring individual student spotlights, behind-the-scenes looks at their trips, and highlights from our visitors' time here in Blue Earth. You won't want to miss these incredible stories!
